La Fontaine is to open a 362-room hotel in Century City, Los Angeles, in early 2027.

Located at 2151 Avenue of the Stars and operated by Davidson Hospitality Group, the property will include 150 suites alongside food and beverage, leisure and meetings and events facilities.
Each guestroom will feature a private balcony, with views spanning the city, surrounding mountains and Pacific Ocean.
Among the hotel’s accommodation will be Top of Crystal, a private suite offering 360-degree views across Los Angeles.
Accessed by a dedicated elevator, the suite will feature a living room, private balcony, dining room for ten and a catering kitchen, and will be available for selected private bookings.
Gensler is serving as both lead architect and interior designer for La Fontaine, with the design incorporating natural materials, extensive glazing and connections between indoor and outdoor spaces.
The hotel’s double-height lobby will provide a series of spaces designed for meetings, socialising and informal gatherings.
Ms Miyoshi, U.S. Representative of the Sumitomo Realty & Development Group, said: “Century City is one of Los Angeles’ most dynamic neighborhoods, and we saw an opportunity to create a hotel that feels distinctly connected to the way people live, work and gather here today.
“With La Fontaine, we wanted to bring a new level of hospitality to the neighborhood while creating a place that feels welcoming and relevant to both travelers and the local community. We are incredibly excited to introduce the hotel and see it become part of the fabric of Century City.
“We look forward to working with Davidson Hospitality Group as our operational partner and trust their expertise in bringing our vision for La Fontaine to life.”
Food and beverage will include an all-day restaurant inspired by the American supper club, operating across breakfast, lunch and dinner.
A separate bar will focus on cocktails using house-made ingredients and fresh juices, while the outdoor pool area will include an open-air bar and event lawn.
La Fontaine will provide more than 16,000 sq ft of indoor meeting, event and pre-function space, complemented by more than 13,000 sq ft outdoors.
Its 4,159 sq ft ballroom will be divisible into three salons and supported by dedicated pre-function space and a green room with private external access.
Further facilities will include executive meeting rooms, boardrooms, a dedicated Wedding Garden and an approximately 7,100 sq ft Event Deck.
The hotel is located close to Westfield Century City, Beverly Hills, Rodeo Drive, Westwood and UCLA, as well as a number of Los Angeles’ entertainment and media businesses.
