House of Gods has entered the London hotel market with the opening of a 79-room property at 12 Bank Street in Canary Wharf.

Opening on 21 September, House of Gods London is the boutique hotel brand’s third and largest property to date, following established locations in Edinburgh and Glasgow.
The expansion is backed by leisure, lifestyle and entertainment investor Imbiba and represents the latest stage of House of Gods’ growth in the UK.
Accommodation ranges from The Cabin and Classic rooms through to larger suites.
The House of Gods Suite includes a private lounge and super-king canopy bed, while the Decadence Suite features an in-room roll-top bath and private balcony overlooking Canary Wharf.
Food and beverage forms a significant part of the new hotel through Sacred Garden, a rooftop restaurant and bar positioned above Eden Dock.
The venue has capacity for up to 300 guests and will serve Mediterranean-inspired food alongside a cocktail programme influenced by music, fashion and popular culture.
House of Gods has designed the London property to attract both overnight guests and local customers, with its offer spanning hotel stays, dining, drinks, celebrations and late-night occasions.
The opening comes as Canary Wharf continues to expand its food, drink, leisure and cultural offer alongside its established business district.
Justine Conway, CEO of House of Gods, said: “Opening in London is a hugely significant moment for House of Gods and an important next step in the growth of the brand. We have established a very clear identity in Edinburgh and Glasgow and the opportunity with London was to take everything that makes House of Gods distinctive, the design, theatre, atmosphere, service and sense of escapism, and deliver it on a much bigger scale.
“Canary Wharf is also undergoing an exciting evolution. It has become much more than a business destination, with an increasingly strong food, drink, leisure and cultural offer, and we believe House of Gods brings something genuinely different to that mix.
“Our ambition has always been to create memorable experiences rather than simply bedrooms. With 79 rooms and suites, Sacred Garden and the breadth of experience we can offer under one roof, London is our most ambitious House of Gods to date. We’re incredibly excited to see it come to life.”
The Canary Wharf opening extends House of Gods’ portfolio to three properties as the Imbiba-backed business continues its expansion.
