Frasers Hospitality is to launch its Capri by Fraser brand in the UK with a 180-unit hotel residence in Kensington, scheduled to open in summer 2027.

Capri by Fraser, Kensington / London will occupy seven restored Victorian buildings on Cromwell Road, which are being transformed into a six-storey property spanning more than 7,000 sq m.
The development will offer accommodation ranging from studios to double apartment suites, with kitchenettes and facilities designed for both short and extended stays.
Original architectural elements including high ceilings, bay windows, staircases and stained-glass features will be retained as part of the redevelopment.
The interior design will draw on the property’s location close to the area known as Albertopolis and its concentration of cultural and educational institutions.
The hotel will be situated near the Royal Albert Hall, Victoria and Albert Museum and Natural History Museum.
As part of the redevelopment, the property will operate without gas, with air source heat pumps supporting its hot water requirements as Frasers Hospitality works to reduce operational carbon emissions.
Rebecca Hollants Van Loocke, Chief Operating Officer EMEA at Frasers Hospitality, said: “This transformation of seven Victorian buildings marries heritage details and period grandeur with thoughtfully considered spaces that spark curiosity, embrace community and inspire creativity. Capri by Fraser, Kensington / London is set to become a vibrant hub for curious travellers and locals, and we look forward to unveiling this distinctive property to our first guests in summer 2027.”
Facilities will include a social hub for guests and local visitors, a 24-hour gym, an immersive music area and dedicated space for art exhibitions and community events.
The food and beverage offer will include breakfast for residents and local customers, light food and snacks throughout the day and evening, and a bar serving cocktails and other drinks.
Meeting facilities will also form part of the property.
Capri by Fraser currently operates more than 1,700 rooms across nine gateway cities, with locations including Berlin, Brisbane, Penang and Singapore.
The Kensington opening will mark the brand’s first UK property when it welcomes guests in summer 2027.
