Taco Bell will open a new restaurant at Welcome Break’s Cromwell Services on the A1 on Friday 4 September as the brand continues its expansion across the UK.

The restaurant will operate daily from 11am to 10pm and will serve Taco Bell favourites including the Crunchwrap Supreme, Crunchy Taco Supreme and Volcano Burrito alongside a range of vegetarian options.
The opening follows the introduction of Taco Bell’s limited-time Jalapeño Honey Mustard range, including a Crispy Chicken Burrito, Soft Taco and Crispy Chicken Tenders.
Double Chocolate Churros have also recently been added to the menu.
The Cromwell restaurant is a franchise location and forms part of Taco Bell’s continued development across roadside and other high-footfall locations.
The UK remains a key growth market for the brand, which now operates more than 150 restaurants nationwide, with further openings planned throughout the remainder of 2026.
Lucy Dee, Marketing Director of Taco Bell UK & Ireland, said: “At Taco Bell, we’re known around the world for pushing boundaries with bold flavours, category-defining innovation and unforgettable brand experiences.
“From iconic fan favourites to exciting new menu launches, we’re constantly evolving to give our customers something craveable, distinctive and uniquely Taco Bell.
“We’re excited to open our doors and connect with the people of Cromwell.”
The new restaurant will incorporate digital features including free Wi-Fi, charging points and multiple ordering channels.
Customers will also be able to order ahead through the Taco Bell app and access the brand’s loyalty programme, Taco Bell Rewards.
Members earn points through purchases which can be redeemed against menu items, alongside access to offers and selected new product releases.
Taco Bell operates more than 7,500 restaurants globally, with the Cromwell opening forming part of its continued expansion across Europe and other international markets.
