AI visibility benchmark shows operators who AI recommends, and why

August 17, 2026

Rose-Brook AI Ltd has launched Rose-Brook Benchmark, a web-based hospitality platform that helps hotel owners, general managers and commercial teams see how selected AI assistants describe, compare and recommend their properties against real competitors.

When a traveller asks an AI assistant where to stay, a hotel may be recommended, placed behind a competitor or left out altogether. Rose-Brook runs structured guest-style hotel prompts under controlled conditions, holds the hotel and competitor field constant and saves the answers behind every result. The service separates commercial preference from evidence quality so teams can see both whether AI appears ready to choose their hotel and whether the answer contains enough accurate support for that preference.

The platform benchmarks ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude on its Pro service. It shows where models agree or disagree, which competitors are being named, and the first public evidence gap worth addressing – such as unclear parking information, missing family-room detail or weak local relevance.

“Hotels have plenty of information once a guest reaches the booking journey. The blind spot is what AI says before the hotel ever sees that demand. Rose-Brook makes that moment visible, preserves the evidence and gives the operator a practical next step.”

Richard Metcalfe, Investor, Rose-Brook AI Ltd

A clear picture of competitive choice

A Liverpool public benchmark on the Rose-Brook website shows the commercial visibility gap between hotels. Across 22 guest-style questions and three AI models, Crowne Plaza Liverpool City Centre by IHG led with an AI Choice Score of 63, followed by Hilton Liverpool City Centre at 61. Yet the leader was named in only 19% of checked answers and recorded evidence depth of 43/100. By preserving the answers behind the scores, Rose-Brook shows hoteliers who AI appears ready to choose, which competitors are winning and why.

A benchmark designed to be challenged

Rose-Brook’s published methodology freezes the subject hotel and competitor set before a run, uses the same prompt pack and scoring version across the field, and keeps captured answers, provider identity, eligibility decisions and partial failures attached to the saved result. The core benchmark calls provider APIs without live web-search tools, while a separate action-plan workflow can inspect current public sources. Results are evidence snapshots, not hotel-quality rankings or guarantees of bookings or revenue.

Availability

Rose-Brook Benchmark is available here. Entry costs GBP 39 per month for one hotel and a monthly ChatGPT benchmark. Pro runs weekly across ChatGPT, Gemini and Claude, includes model-agreement analysis and supports up to 10 active competitors. The Pro Launch Rate is GBP 79 per month for subscriptions started before 1 October 2026; the standard Pro price is GBP 99 per month.
