Korean street food brand Bunsik is continuing its UK expansion with new restaurant openings in Coventry and Birmingham.

The two sites form part of Bunsik’s ongoing partnership with ZK Group and will extend the brand’s presence into two of the Midlands’ largest urban markets.
The Coventry restaurant will introduce Bunsik to the city as the business seeks to reach new communities beyond its existing locations.
In Birmingham, Bunsik will open at the Bullring, placing the brand within one of the UK’s best-known retail and leisure destinations.
The openings follow the development of Bunsik’s regional estate and reflect the growing popularity of Korean food and culture across the UK.
The brand specialises in Korean street food and has expanded beyond its original London market as demand for the concept has increased.
For Bunsik and ZK Group, Coventry and Birmingham represent the next stage of a partnership focused on introducing the brand to additional cities and communities around the country.
Jae Cho, Founder of Bunsik, said: “Coventry and Birmingham are exciting milestones for Bunsik as we continue bringing Korean street food to more communities across the UK.
“ZK Group has been a fantastic partner, and we’re excited to keep growing together.”
Zubair Ali, Director of ZK Group, added: “The response to Bunsik in Plymouth has been fantastic, giving us great confidence in the brand’s potential beyond London and South England.
“We’re proud to be opening in Coventry and the Bullring and look forward to what’s next.”
The two openings will further strengthen Bunsik’s regional presence as the brand and ZK Group continue to explore opportunities for expansion across the UK.
