SoBe Burger Plans Five September Openings as UK Rollout Accelerates

September 7, 2026

SoBe Burger is accelerating its UK expansion with five new restaurant openings planned during September.

The burger brand opened its latest site in Worcester on 3 September, with Portsmouth scheduled to follow on 10 September and Kingston on 16 September.

Further restaurants in Loughton and Brighton are due to open later in the month.

The five-site rollout follows recent openings in Leamington Spa and Swindon as SoBe Burger continues to expand its physical restaurant estate alongside its delivery business.

The brand currently operates through 229 delivery locations across the UK.

Opening events at new restaurants have included free burgers, live DJs and promotional discounts.

SoBe Burger’s expansion is being developed in partnership with Sessions, which has worked with the brand since 2021.

Sessions uses delivery performance data and a phased rollout model to identify locations for physical restaurants, with the aim of enabling brands to test demand before committing to further expansion.

Sessions Founder Dan Warne has said SoBe Burger is expected to reach around 80 quick-service restaurants by the end of 2027.

Founded by school friends Tom and Alex following a trip to Miami, SoBe Burger initially developed as a delivery-led concept focused on smash burgers, loaded fries and wings.

Its partnership with Sessions has since supported the transition towards a growing bricks-and-mortar estate.

SoBe Burger founders Tom and Alex said: “Reaching so many sites in quick succession feels like such a milestone for us as a brand.

“It’s amazing to see how quickly we have grown since we first started in 2018, and a lot of that has been propelled by working with Sessions.

“September is going to be a very busy and very exciting month for us as a brand as we look to further our expansion.”

Chris Cowdry, SoBe Burger’s Worcester partner, said: “After a year in the making, I’m incredibly excited to open SoBe Burger Worcester.

“It’s been a long journey to get here, and it’s fantastic to see all the hard work come together.

“The Sessions team have been great to work with throughout the process, and we can’t wait to welcome the people of Worcester through the doors and introduce them to SoBe Burger.”

Warne added: “It’s really exciting to see our model working so smoothly.

“We’re proud that SoBe Burger is the UK’s fastest-growing burger franchise, and it really showcases what Sessions is all about – giving material scale, rapidly, to the brands consumers want.”

The Worcester, Portsmouth, Kingston, Loughton and Brighton openings represent the latest stage of SoBe Burger’s wider nationwide rollout.
