Located on Károlyi Street in Budapest’s historic District V, the 126-room hotel has reopened following a comprehensive renovation.

The opening marks a further expansion of Radisson Hotel Group’s presence across Central and Eastern Europe, while bringing its Radisson Individuals collection to Hungary for the first time.

David Jenkins, Vice President, Development, Eastern Europe at Radisson Hotel Group, said: “The opening of Hotel Erzsébet City Center Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals, marks an exciting milestone as we introduce the Radisson Individuals brand to Hungary for the first time.

“It also represents another important step in Radisson Hotel Group’s continued growth across Central and Eastern Europe.

“Radisson Individuals brings together distinctive hotels that celebrate their own identity while benefiting from the global reach, trusted standards and hospitality expertise of Radisson Hotel Group.

“Hotel Erzsébet City Center Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals is a strong addition to our growing portfolio, bringing the brand to one of Europe’s most dynamic and culturally rich capitals.”

Accommodation comprises 126 rooms and suites across Cozy, Standard and Superior categories alongside Junior Suites.

The rooms have been redesigned with a contemporary aesthetic and include complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi and amenities aimed at both business and leisure travellers.

The hotel is also pet-friendly and provides a 24-hour reception and concierge service.

Its central location places guests within walking distance of a number of Budapest attractions.

Váci Street is approximately two minutes from the hotel, while the Hungarian National Museum is around six minutes away and both the Great Market Hall and Dohány Street Synagogue can be reached in around eight minutes on foot.

The Danube Promenade is approximately a 10-minute walk away.

Food and beverage facilities include a breakfast restaurant serving a daily buffet of local and international options, alongside a lobby vending area for refreshments throughout the day.

The renovation has also incorporated a series of upgrades aimed at improving the environmental performance of the building.

Measures include upgraded façade windows, new heating and cooling systems, intelligent building automation and window sensors designed to switch off air conditioning when windows are opened.

Energy-efficient LED lighting has also been installed throughout the property.

Agnes Katona, General Manager of Hotel Erzsébet City Center Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals, said: “What makes Hotel Erzsébet City Center Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals so special is the opportunity it gives guests to experience the city from the heart of it.

“Step outside and you can wander through Károlyi Garden, explore the cafés and shops of the historic city centre, visit the Great Market Hall or Hungarian National Museum, and reach the Danube within minutes.

“Budapest is a city best discovered on foot, with layers of history, architecture, culture and local life around every corner, and we look forward to helping our guests experience that authentic sense of place during their stay.”
