Radisson Hotel Group Signs Hotel Erzsébet Budapest

July 11, 2026

Radisson Hotel Group has announced the signing of Hotel Erzsébet Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals.

Hotel Erzsébet Budapest

The 126-room hotel is located in the heart of downtown Budapest, close to Váci Street, the Danube Promenade and the city’s shopping, dining and cultural districts.

Set on a pedestrian street in Budapest’s inner city, Hotel Erzsébet Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals, is a fully refurbished property offering a centrally located base for leisure and business travellers.

The hotel provides easy access to the city’s cultural attractions, restaurants, cafés, boutiques and public transport links.

Named after Queen Elisabeth, wife of Emperor Franz Joseph I, the hotel brings a distinctive heritage story to Radisson Hotel Group’s growing European portfolio.

Guest services include 24-hour reception, luggage storage and concierge support.

The hotel is also pet-friendly.

Through its affiliation with Radisson Individuals, the property will retain its own character while benefiting from the group’s global commercial systems, distribution network and Radisson Rewards loyalty platform.

David Jenkins, Vice President, Development Eastern Europe, Radisson Hotel Group, said: “We are proud to bring Hotel Erzsébet City Center Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals, into our portfolio.

“Budapest continues to be one of Central Europe’s most attractive destinations, with strong demand from leisure, cultural, and business travelers.

“This signing is a great example of how Radisson Individuals allows distinctive, well-located independent hotels to maintain their own character while gaining the strength of Radisson Hotel Group’s international network.”

Danubius Hotels is one of Hungary’s leading hotel operators, with experience managing both its own brands and international hotel brands.

Kovács Balázs, CEO of Danubius Hotels, said: “This agreement reflects the confidence that leading international hotel brands place in Danubius Hotels as a trusted hotel operator.

“We are proud to introduce Radisson Individuals to Hungary and to open a new chapter for Hotel Erzsébet together with Radisson Hotel Group.”

With its downtown location, historic identity and refreshed guest experience, Hotel Erzsébet Budapest, a member of Radisson Individuals, strengthens Radisson Hotel Group’s presence in Hungary.

The signing also expands the group’s portfolio of characterful independent hotels in key European city destinations.
