Foxhills Club & Resort has reported a 15% year-on-year increase in revenue generated by meetings and events during June, July and August.

The 440-acre Surrey resort said the performance reflects increasing demand from businesses looking to combine meetings with team activities, hospitality and opportunities for colleagues to spend time together outside the traditional meeting room.
Room hire revenue increased by 12% year on year during the three-month period, while food revenue rose by 25% and beverage revenue increased by 29%.
Corporate hotel bedroom bookings were also up 7%, indicating greater demand from businesses extending events into overnight stays.
Foxhills offers a range of meeting and event spaces alongside two championship golf courses, wellness facilities and extensive grounds, enabling event planners to incorporate activities into corporate programmes.
The resort said it is seeing more enquiries from businesses looking to combine formal meetings with team building and shared experiences as companies place greater emphasis on collaboration and employee engagement.
Kelly Elton, Director of Sales at Foxhills Club & Resort, said: “Businesses are looking for experiences that make meetings and events memorable, allowing their guests to take part in more activities together and ultimately making time together count. We’re seeing more enquiries that look to combine productive meetings with opportunities to connect through more diverse team building activities and experiences, away from the usual working environment.
“Meeting and event planners have really made the most of what we have to offer here at Foxhills, from our range of meeting spaces to our golf courses, wellness facilities and new restaurant offering.”
