The Kitchen Porters Club exists to recognise and celebrate kitchen porters, the people who keep our kitchens clean, organised and operational.
Every month, colleagues are invited to nominate a kitchen porter for Kitchen Porter of the Month, sharing the story of someone whose contribution deserves to be seen.
The nominations recognise people who support everyone around them, who have grown in confidence, who bring energy and positivity to the kitchen, or simply whose presence makes the team better.
It is about taking the time to notice people, acknowledge what they contribute and make that recognition visible.
Kitchen Porter of the Month winners are welcomed into the Kitchen Porters Club, receive their official Club apron, water bottle and certificate, and have their story shared.
Over time, those stories have created something more than an award. They show the personalities, friendships, progression and sense of belonging found in kitchens across hospitality and catering.
