St. Ermin’s Hotel in Westminster is to launch its newly refurbished meetings and events facilities in mid-November following a £1.7 million investment.
The project covers ten spaces collectively known as The East Wing and introduces a podcast studio, private screening room, boardrooms and a range of flexible meeting and private dining areas.
Designed by Trevillion Interiors, the refurbishment combines new technology and facilities with references to the Grade II-listed hotel’s architecture and its historic links with British intelligence.
Several of the new rooms take their names from figures connected with that history.
The Granville is named after Christine Granville, also known as Krystyna Skarbek, while The Selborne takes its name from Roundell Palmer, 3rd Earl of Selborne, who served as Minister of Economic Warfare during the Second World War.
Among the new facilities is The Listening Station, a soundproofed podcast studio equipped for audio and visual recording, webinars and other digital content.
The hotel said the studio will also be used to support emerging podcast talent.
The Hidden Lens is a private screening room designed for film viewings and presentations and can also be incorporated into larger events.
Four additional flexible areas have been created for networking and social gatherings, alongside a privacy booth where delegates can make calls or work away from the main event spaces.
Private rooms accommodating between four and 40 guests can be configured for board meetings, private dining, weddings and other celebrations.
Food and beverage will form part of the expanded offer, with catering available across breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea and dinner.

As custodians of this beautiful and historic building, we have carefully reimagined each space to honour the character and heritage that make St. Ermin’s so unique.

“Having served the Westminster community for more than a century, St. Ermin’s continues to evolve, and the introduction of contemporary facilities including a Screening Room, Podcast Studio and flexible meeting spaces ensures we remain well positioned for the future.
“Private dining will also play a central role, with beautifully designed, intimate settings for formal dinners, social occasions and smaller wedding celebrations.”
The new meetings and events spaces will be available for bookings and private viewings from mid-November.
