A new trio of classic pies has been added to the Signature by Country Range portfolio ahead of autumn, which are available exclusively through the Country Range Group member wholesalers.

Signature by Country Range is the premium tier of the Group’s own-brands and has been specially crafted to provide professional kitchens with all the tools to tempt, tantalise and entice guests to trade up, whilst keeping costs at a minimum. It now features over 30 carefully sourced, superior ingredients and fully finished products for caterers of all sizes.
With comforting classics and premium pub favourites coming into their own as the temperature drops, the three new pies have been created to give operators the quality, provenance and generous fillings customers expect from a premium pie, without the time and labour required to make them from scratch.
A pub classic, hand-held hero, pastry pleaser and the original comfort food, the new trifecta of pies are made to classic recipes with pristine pastry and carefully selected cheeses, vegetables and free-range meat, as well as certified sustainable palm oil across all three recipes.
Designed with the demands of professional kitchens in mind, the pies can be cooked in either a conventional oven or Merrychef, giving operators flexibility across different kitchen formats and service styles. Once defrosted, they can also be kept refrigerated for up to 10 days, helping caterers manage stock efficiently, minimise waste and respond more easily to changing demand.
Available in 8 x 225g packs, the trio includes:
Vintage Cheddar Pie – A crunchy, cheesy topping conceals the ultimate deep-filled cheese pie with sumptuous vintage cheddar and creamy Emmental alongside potato, leek and a drop of cider.
Chicken, Ham & Leek Pie – The finest free-range chicken marries magically with ham hock, leek, thyme, cream and white wine for a rich take on a much-loved classic.
Steak & Ale Pie – The crowd-pleaser of all the pies, this Steak and Ale pie showcases high quality slow-cooked beef steak, which has been cooked in craft ale to provide a beautiful beery character and a rich, unctuous gravy.
Rachel Porter, Country Range Group Own Brand Manager, said:
“While quality pies are year-round regulars on menus across the hospitality and public catering sectors, they really come into their own in the colder months so we’re very excited to unleash this tantalising trio in time for autumn. Customers might be looking for familiar favourites, but that doesn’t mean they want to compromise on quality. From free-range chicken to vintage cheddar, Emmental and craft ale, we’ve focused on ingredients and recipes that give these classics the premium treatment and provide operators with a compelling trade-up option.
“A proper pie with the trimmings takes some beating but it also takes time to make so our new Signature trio is the ideal option as caterers lacking time, space and resources don’t need to compromise on quality. From the perfect pastry to the flavoursome filling, everything about these pies is top tier.”
