Foxhills Club & Resort will launch a new illustrated Afternoon Tea in The Manor on 29 October.

The new experience has been designed to reflect the character of the Surrey estate, with Foxhills using bespoke crockery and artwork to bring elements of life at the resort to the table.
The crockery has been created exclusively for Foxhills and features illustrations inspired by the resort’s activities and surroundings, including golf, racquets, swimming, art, the outdoors, food and families spending time together.
The artwork also appears on the new Afternoon Tea menu.
It has been created by Annabel Hocking, a Surrey-based artist and illustrator who is part of the Foxhills team and leads art activities and workshops at the resort.
Originally trained in architecture, Hocking’s work is influenced by gardens, nature and travel.
The afternoon tea menu remains rooted in traditional favourites.
Sandwiches include smoked salmon with dill and lemon, egg and watercress, and ham, cheese and honey mustard.
The offering also includes plain and golden raisin scones served with strawberry jam and clotted cream.
Sweet dishes include an orange and milk chocolate dome, treacle tart and blueberry cheesecake.
The Afternoon Tea will be served in The Manor, where the Manor Lounge and Bar has recently been relaunched as part of wider changes to the food and beverage offer at Foxhills.
Miroslava McDermott, Director of Brand and Marketing at Foxhills Club & Resort, said: “We did not want to simply create another traditional Afternoon Tea. We wanted to take something familiar and give guests a glimpse of what life here is really about, by bringing the character of the resort into the experience.
“The crockery brings that idea to life. Each piece captures a little moment from the activities that take place here, and when they come together, they tell a much bigger story. There are details that people might recognise, details they might miss the first time, and little surprises to discover. We wanted the experience to feel like a conversation starter, with the table itself becoming part of the occasion.”
Foxhills said the experience will take a festive turn from 23 November with the introduction of a seasonal version of the Afternoon Tea.
