Blend Family has announced the full line-up of 14 independent food operators joining The Elephant Exchange Food Hall in London, ahead of the venue’s opening on Thursday 12 November 2026.

Located in Elephant & Castle, the new food hall will bring together businesses specialising in cuisines from across Asia, Europe and the Americas, alongside a central bar, coffee offering and dedicated events programme.
The opening marks the latest addition to Blend Family’s growing portfolio of UK food halls and will provide several independent hospitality businesses with their first permanent trading locations.
Among the confirmed operators is SHOKUDŌ, a Japanese food concept established in 2024 by Hong Kong-born Australians Christine and Joseph.
The business has developed through London street food events, private supper clubs, office catering and cookery classes, and will now open its first permanent location at Elephant Exchange.
Its menu will include Chicken Oyako Don, Tamagoyaki Sando, takoyaki and Japanese curry, alongside seasonal specials and vegetarian options.
Nepalese street food business Filili Eats will also establish its first permanent home at the venue.
Founded by Sadish in 2021, Filili Eats has built its following through markets and pop-ups, specialising in momo dumplings, including its Danger Momo and Bang Bang Momo variations.
Khin Thai, founded by Eaint, will bring traditional Thai dishes influenced by three generations of family cooking.
Its menu will feature dishes including pad Thai and pad kra pao, drawing on recipes passed down through the founder’s mother and grandmother.
Young Nola will introduce Louisiana Creole cuisine, with a menu reflecting the West African, French, Spanish and Caribbean influences associated with New Orleans.
Dishes will include gumbo, Creole mac ‘n’ cheese, slow-cooked Louisiana short ribs and Bayou fried shrimp.
TaiWei will bring Taiwanese street food to the development, with a menu created by founder Tina following professional culinary training in Taiwan.
The business will serve dishes including freshly prepared noodles, beef short rib, slow-braised pork and Taiwanese-inspired street food.
Peruvian cuisine will be represented by Taste Peru, while Hakka Village will combine influences from Malaysian hawker culture and Southern Chinese cooking.
Sunrise Caribbean, founded by Michelle, will serve dishes inspired by Jamaican family recipes, while Zindiya will introduce Indian food drawing on its founders’ culinary heritage.
Greek Gods’ Cuisine, founded by Efi Vasilaki, will offer Greek dishes including gyros, souvlaki and moussaka, alongside vegan options.
Vietnamese street food concept +84, co-founded by Gray and Linda, will serve dishes influenced by Gray’s childhood in Ho Chi Minh City.
Its menu will include freshly baked bánh mì filled with a selection of proteins, homemade pickles, sauces and fresh coriander.
Fuego 1987 will introduce Mexican-American street food, including its Birria Ramen, prepared using beef birria consommé slow-cooked for more than eight hours.
Founded by Hamza, the concept will operate a fully halal menu, with gluten-free corn tacos and plant-based options also available.
Italian-inspired concept Renata will bring handmade pasta, freshly prepared pizza dough, house-made sauces and doughballs to Elephant Exchange.
Founded by Samson, the business has a personal connection to Elephant & Castle, where he first lived after moving to England.
The final confirmed food partner is ANG, a comfort-food concept specialising in smash burgers, alongside fried chicken and egg sandwiches.
In addition to its 14 food operators, The Elephant Exchange Food Hall will introduce Lulu, a self-pour wine concept positioned within the venue.
The food hall will also feature a central bar, coffee facilities and a programme of events and cultural collaborations intended to attract residents, workers, students and visitors.
Matt Bigland, Co-Founder of Blend Family, said: “We believe great food halls should be about much more than eating and drinking. They should be places where people connect, discover something new and feel part of their local community. Elephant & Castle is one of the most exciting and diverse areas in London, and we’re incredibly excited to create a destination that reflects that energy and creativity.”
The development follows the continued expansion of Blend Family, whose existing portfolio includes Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT in Salford Quays, Tower Bridge Collective in London and Alfred Works in Birmingham.
The company’s food hall model brings together independent operators within shared hospitality venues, providing opportunities for emerging businesses to develop their concepts and reach new audiences.
With the full food partner line-up now confirmed, Elephant Exchange is preparing for its November launch, which will include opening-week promotions and activities.
The Elephant Exchange Food Hall is scheduled to open in Elephant & Castle on Thursday 12 November 2026.
