Blend Family will open The Elephant Exchange Food Hall in Elephant & Castle on Thursday 12 November, marking the hospitality group’s latest food hall opening.

Located within the Elephant Exchange development, the venue will bring together a collection of independent food businesses alongside a central bar and coffee shop.
The food hall will offer a range of cuisines and food and drink options designed for different occasions throughout the day.
A series of opening-week initiatives will accompany the launch, including Kids Eat Free throughout the first week and bottomless tea and coffee for customers working from the food hall.
Matt Bigland, Co-founder of Blend Family, said: “We’re incredibly excited to bring The Elephant Exchange Food Hall to life and officially welcome people through the doors. Elephant & Castle is such a vibrant and diverse part of London, and we want the food hall to reflect that by creating a space where everyone feels welcome, whether they’re coming in for a family meal, catching up with friends or settling in with a hot drink while they work.
“We wanted to make the opening week feel like a real celebration of the local community. With Kids Eat Free throughout the first week, including the weekend, and bottomless coffee for those working from the food hall, we’re looking forward to welcoming people in and giving them a taste of what Blend Family food halls are all about.”
The Elephant Exchange Food Hall will join Blend Family’s growing portfolio of venues across the UK.
The group currently operates Cutlery Works and Cambridge Street Collective in Sheffield, Kargo MKT in Salford Quays and Tower Bridge Collective in London, with its portfolio also including Alfred Works in Digbeth, Birmingham.
Blend Family’s food halls bring together independent food businesses within shared spaces, providing operators with locations from which to develop their individual concepts.
