Cap Maison Resort & Spa in Saint Lucia has appointed Carl Beviere as its new General Manager, succeeding Ross Stevenson.

Beviere brings more than 30 years of luxury hospitality experience across the Caribbean.
Most recently, he led the opening of Royalton Vessence Barbados as General Manager.
His previous career includes a number of senior leadership roles with Sandals Resorts, including Regional Managing Director.
British and Saint Lucian, Beviere is returning to Saint Lucia for his new role at Cap Maison.
He also has a longstanding connection with the Gobat family, having worked with them at the beginning of his hospitality career.
A former chef, Beviere brings a particular focus on food and beverage to the position and will work with the team to further develop Cap Maison’s culinary offer.
“Returning to Saint Lucia and joining Cap Maison is incredibly special for me,” said Carl. “I have known the Gobat family since the very beginning of my career, so there is a wonderful sense of coming home. Cap Maison has such a distinctive personality and a very special place in Saint Lucia’s hospitality landscape. I’m looking forward to working alongside the team, getting to know our guests and building on everything that makes this resort so unique, particularly its people, its sense of place and its outstanding culinary offering.”
“We are absolutely delighted to welcome Carl back to Saint Lucia and to Cap Maison,” said Rufus Gobat Director at Cap Maison Resort & Spa “He brings an extraordinary depth of Caribbean hospitality experience. His connection with the Gobat family makes his arrival at Cap Maison particularly special, and we are excited about the future.”
Beviere succeeds Ross Stevenson, who recently announced his departure as General Manager of Cap Maison.
During Stevenson’s tenure, Cap Maison became the first property in Saint Lucia to join Relais & Châteaux and one of a small number of members across the Caribbean.
“We would like to thank Ross sincerely for his commitment, leadership and contribution to Cap Maison,” said Rufus. “We wish him every success in his next chapter and are grateful for all that he has brought to the resort.”
As General Manager, Beviere will oversee the continued development of Cap Maison’s operations, guest experience, team and food and beverage offer.
