September 16, 2026

Zuma is to open its first restaurant in Saint-Barth in late November 2026, adding the Caribbean island to its international portfolio.

Located in Gustavia overlooking the harbour, Zuma Saint-Barth will operate as a seasonal restaurant through to April 2027.

The restaurant will open seven days a week from 6pm until 1am, combining dinner with drinks and late-night entertainment.

Seating will be predominantly indoors, alongside a semi-outdoor area with high-top seating overlooking the waterfront.

The food offer will follow Zuma’s established contemporary Japanese izakaya format and will be built around three kitchens comprising the main kitchen, sushi counter and robata grill.

Dishes will be designed for sharing and accompanied by a drinks list spanning signature cocktails, wines and sake.

As the evening progresses, the focus will extend from dining towards the bar and music, with a resident DJ forming part of the late-night operation.

A high-top counter positioned around the DJ area will provide additional space for drinks.

Sven Koch, CEO of Azumi Restaurant Group, said: “Saint-Barth has long felt like a natural destination for Zuma. The island has a distinctive energy and spirit that reflects so much of what we value – exceptional food and drinks, music and people coming together in a beautiful setting. We are very pleased to be bringing Zuma to the island and look forward to welcoming our first guests this winter.”

The Saint-Barth restaurant will join Zuma’s existing portfolio of permanent restaurants and seasonal locations across international cities and resort destinations.

Zuma Saint-Barth is scheduled to open in late November 2026 and operate until April 2027.
