The Lind Hotels to Open Coron Resort in 2027

September 3, 2026

The Lind Hotels is set to open The Lind Coron in Palawan in 2027, marking the Filipino hospitality brand’s expansion into the destination where its story first began.

The Lind Hotels

Coron was the location of the company’s first property acquisition more than a decade ago, before the business opted to launch The Lind brand in the more established tourism destination of Boracay.

The Lind Boracay has since developed into an internationally recognised hotel and became the first property in Boracay to be included in the Michelin Guide.

The opening of The Lind Coron will now bring the company back to its original development plans for Palawan.

Pierre Henrichs, Chief Operating Officer of The Lind Hotels, said: “We have always believed in pioneering rather than following.

“Coron offers a rare combination of natural beauty and untapped potential. Our goal is not only to be part of its growth, but to help shape its future by bringing a new standard of hospitality to the destination.”

The resort will comprise 91 rooms and villas, with private villas incorporating individual dipping pools and a dedicated Villa Host service.

Food and beverage will include Yím, a modern Thai restaurant, alongside Crust, located within the Main House beside the infinity pool and serving Mediterranean-influenced dishes.

Wellness facilities will include The Spa Wellness Coron, while the resort will also operate its own dive centre in partnership with an established Philippine diving operator.

The location will provide access to activities including island hopping, lagoon exploration and diving, with Second World War shipwrecks located in waters close to the property.

The Lind Coron will also incorporate indoor and outdoor meeting and events facilities.

The Gallery will accommodate up to 200 guests and offer panoramic sea views, while The Cove will provide an outdoor event setting.

At the highest point of the resort, a Roof Deck will provide 360-degree views across the sea, mountains and surrounding landscape for weddings, proposals and other events.

Henrichs added: “We aim to create a resort that belongs in its setting rather than competes with it.

“We want guests to experience the beauty, authenticity and adventure of Coron while enjoying the hospitality and service they have come to associate with The Lind Hotels.”

The Lind Coron is scheduled to open in 2027.
