Sodexo has secured a place on the Government Commercial Agency’s RM6378 Facilities Management & Security Services framework.

The appointment gives the food services and facilities management business the opportunity to bid for public sector contracts covering a wide range of workplace, facilities and security services.
RM6378 has an estimated value of £120 billion and is available to central government departments and other UK public sector organisations including local authorities, health, education, emergency services and devolved administrations.
The framework covers Total Facilities Management, Hard Facilities Management, Soft Facilities Management and security services.
Services available include catering, cleaning, waste management, asset and building maintenance, guarding, technical security, reception, landscaping and care and custody services.
RM6378 replaces the previous RM6232 Facilities Management & Workplace Services and RM6257 Security – Physical, Technical & Support Services frameworks.
It has been established as an open framework under the Procurement Act 2023 and can run for a maximum of eight years.
Public sector organisations using the framework can tailor their procurement requirements around priorities including sustainability and social value.
Sodexo’s inclusion follows more than three decades of working with government and public sector organisations across the UK.
Paul Anstey, Chief Executive Officer, Government & Energy at Sodexo UK & Ireland, said: “We’re delighted about the continued trust and confidence in Sodexo as a strategic supplier that being approved onto this framework represents.
“For more than 30 years, we have developed a strong track record delivering a wide range of services and added value to the communities and people we serve across the UK in partnership with Government.
“Looking ahead towards eight more years of collaboration, our team is relishing the opportunity to build on our reputation as a trusted partner by continuing to bring expertise, skills, and passion to the services we provide across the Government sector.”
