Gather + Gather has secured three new catering and hospitality partnerships across the further and higher education sector worth more than £37 million in total.

The contracts with Edge Hill University, the University of West London and City College Norwich will run for between five and seven years, with Gather + Gather beginning services during the new academic year.
The partnerships will see the caterer introduce bespoke food, drink and hospitality offers across the three institutions, alongside technology, student engagement initiatives, work experience and employment opportunities.
Gather + Gather said its approach during the competitive public procurement processes focused on creating welcoming and inclusive hospitality spaces designed to support student wellbeing, social connection and wider campus life.
The new contracts will include redesigned restaurants, cafés and hospitality spaces, alongside expanded food and drink choices focused on flexibility and value.
Student activities, events and collaborations will also form part of the offer throughout the academic year, supported by commitments around sustainability, responsible sourcing and reducing food waste.
Gather + Gather’s student app will be introduced across the partnerships, providing a digital hub for menus, mobile ordering and personalised vouchers.
The platform will also provide health and nutrition information, campus wayfinding, employment opportunities and bookings for masterclasses and other activities.
Alongside catering services, Gather + Gather plans to provide work experience and part-time employment opportunities for students, as well as bringing hospitality industry professionals onto campuses.
Sam Roth, Business Development Director at Gather + Gather, said: “We’re absolutely delighted to be partnering with Edge Hill University, City College Norwich and the University of West London. With a shared vision of enhancing the student experience through the elevation of campus life, they’re a fantastic addition and fit for our growing portfolio of further and higher education institutions.
“Our role isn’t just serving great food. It’s about creating an experience that students genuinely want to be part of. Whether that’s through our bespoke app, work placements, wellbeing initiatives or bringing industry leaders onto campus, we’re focused on supporting students beyond the plate.
“Each of the three institutions is different, so it’s been our job to listen first and create something that’s completely bespoke to them. We can’t wait to showcase what we do best to the students and staff at the start of the academic year.”
The three agreements further expand Gather + Gather’s presence within the UK education catering market ahead of the 2026/27 academic year.
