Portmarnock Resort Launches Flexible Coastal Corporate Event Packages

September 2, 2026

Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links has launched a new collection of flexible corporate event packages as the Dublin coastal resort marks its 30th anniversary.

Portmarnock Resort and Jameson Golf Links is situated on the Velvet Strand

Called ‘Meet by the coast’, the offer has been developed as a pick-and-mix format allowing corporate clients to tailor meetings, conferences, retreats and incentive programmes around their individual requirements.

Although the resort opened 30 years ago, the property incorporates the former home of the Jameson whiskey family, built during the 1850s alongside an adjoining golf course.

Elements of that heritage remain throughout the property, including the Jameson Bar and Jameson Golf Links.

Corporate groups can choose from a range of activities based at the resort, including golf clinics and ‘beat the pro’ matches with Brendan Walton, coastal spa treatments, beach activities, sea swimming and tailored team-building sessions.

Food and drink experiences can be incorporated throughout programmes, including corporate barbecues in the Secret Garden.

Companies can also privately hire the Síbín, a traditional Irish pub where delegates can pull their own pints.

The wider activity programme extends beyond the resort and includes trips to Lambay Island, home to wildlife including seals, fallow deer and a population of more than 100 wallabies.

Other options include Malahide Castle, Newgrange, the Wicklow Mountains and trips into Dublin to visit attractions including Trinity College and the Jameson distillery.

Portmarnock Resort is set within extensive grounds alongside Velvet Strand beach and incorporates the Jameson Golf Links.

The resort can accommodate corporate events for up to 300 attendees and has 134 bedrooms alongside parking for cars and coaches.

It is located approximately 15 minutes from Dublin International Airport.

Portmarnock Resort has also recently refurbished its meeting and event spaces, introducing new AV equipment to support a wider range of corporate functions.

Day delegate packages are available, with activities including sea swimming able to be incorporated into meeting programmes.

William Kirby, General Manager at Portmarnock Resort & Jameson Golf Links, said: “With the resort’s spectacular setting and extensive grounds, we offer something many other providers can’t.

“Whether businesses are focused on high-impact meetings, leadership retreats, conferences, team-building or incentive programmes, what could be better than to ‘Meet by the coast’?

“With our unique amenities and the potential combination of activities available, from secret garden barbecues to wallaby watching, our aim is to create events which people never forget.”
