MGallery Collection Expands Global Portfolio with Five 2026 Openings

September 5, 2026

MGallery Collection, part of Accor, is continuing its international expansion in 2026 with five hotel openings spanning the Maldives, Greece, France and China.

The additions range from island resorts in the Indian Ocean and Aegean Sea to an Atlantic coastal retreat and an urban hotel in Western China, with each property designed around the character, culture and landscape of its destination.

V Villas Maldives at Mirihi – MGallery Collection opened in June, marking MGallery’s debut in the Maldives.

Located on the private island of Mirihi in the South Ari Atoll, the all-villa resort is reached by a 30-minute seaplane journey from Malé and comprises 42 villas.

The accommodation includes four new overwater villas with private pools, while each villa provides ocean views and private butler service.

Interiors by Studio Gronda use local pinewood, natural linens and timber alongside handwoven lattices and coral-inspired ceramics produced by Maldivian artisans.

Food and beverage comprises Dhonvelli, serving ocean-to-table dining; overwater seafood restaurant Muraka; and Akoya Sea Lounge.

Mirihi Spa incorporates island botanicals and traditional Maldivian wellness practices through treatments, sound healing, meditation and aerial yoga.

The resort’s signature guest experience takes place aboard Mirihi Thari, a private yacht offering trips through the Ari Atoll in search of whale sharks, manta rays and sea turtles.

In Greece, Nírema Hotel & Spa Samos – MGallery Collection is scheduled to open in September.

Situated at the entrance to Vathy on Samos, the 72-room property overlooks Vathy Bay and the Ampelos mountains.

Eight suites include private pools and terraces, while guests will have access to a dedicated beachfront area.

Its food and beverage offer will include a sea-view à la carte restaurant, pool bar and wine cellar focusing on Samos’ Muscat wines.

Wellness facilities comprise a spa, fitness centre, outdoor pool and private beach, while the hotel’s signature experience will combine local wine, the philosophy associated with Pythagoras and Samian storytelling.

MGallery also expanded its Greek portfolio in May with the opening of Kove Hotel & Spa Mykonos.

Located between Ornos and Korfos and close to Mykonos Town, the property comprises 35 rooms and suites.

Its design combines whitewashed architecture, organic textures and Cycladic forms, with selected suites featuring private Jacuzzis or plunge pools.

The hotel’s restaurant, eNa, focuses on seasonal ingredients, while its rooftop terrace overlooks Ornos and Korfos.

A secluded Cave Spa draws inspiration from the island’s landscape and uses local ingredients and traditional techniques. The hotel also offers a private dawn voyage to the archaeological island of Delos as its signature MGallery experience.

On France’s Atlantic coast, Bel Hotel Oléron Thalasso & Spa – MGallery Collection opened in June on Île d’Oléron.

The oceanfront property, situated between pine forest and the Atlantic at plage de Gatseau, features 102 rooms including eight suites, each with a private balcony or terrace.

Chef Pierre Gagnaire oversees the property’s seasonal culinary offer, incorporating produce from local fishermen, oyster farmers and growers.

Its Spa & Thalasso includes 27 treatment cabins, an indoor swimming pool, hammam, sauna and herbal tearoom, with treatments created alongside French skincare company Phytomer.

The hotel’s signature experience is a private sunset picnic overlooking the Atlantic.

MGallery’s expansion has also continued in Greater China with the August opening of Financial City Chengdu – MGallery Collection.

The property is MGallery’s third hotel in Chengdu and tenth in China, supporting Accor’s wider ambition to double its Greater China portfolio by 2030.

Located in Chengdu Financial City, the hotel was designed by Stack Studio and takes inspiration from Tang Dynasty poet Zhang Ji’s Song of Chengdu.

A century-old lychee tree at the entrance forms part of the design narrative, which continues through a rooftop Sky Garden.

The hotel comprises 155 guestrooms and suites, with interiors inspired by the landscape and colours surrounding Chengdu.

Food and beverage includes Lychee Restaurant and Lychee Bar, while the property also provides approximately 480 sq m of flexible meeting and events space and a fitness centre opening onto an outdoor terrace.

Sustainability measures include reduced single-use plastics, smart in-room energy management, water-saving fixtures, energy-efficient building systems and LED lighting.

The five properties form part of MGallery Collection’s continued global development strategy, with the brand focusing on boutique hotels shaped by individual stories and their connection to local culture and destination.
