Restaurateur Sam Harrison and co-director Fanny Stocker have appointed Luke Maynard as Group Head Chef across their four west London businesses.
Maynard will oversee the food offer at Sam’s Riverside, Sam’s Waterside in Brentford, Sam’s Kitchen and Sam’s Larder.
He joins the group from Rovi in Fitzrovia, where he has served as Head Chef throughout 2026.
Prior to Rovi, Maynard spent almost three years as Head Chef at The Portrait Restaurant by Richard Corrigan at the National Portrait Gallery.
His earlier career includes a number of roles with Gordon Ramsay Restaurants in London.
Maynard was Head Chef at The River Restaurant at The Savoy and Lucky Cat Mayfair, having previously progressed through the kitchen at Maze Mayfair from Commis Chef in 2016 to Head Chef between 2018 and 2019.
In his new group-wide role, Maynard will help develop the food proposition across the four businesses, with menus continuing to focus on seasonal and sustainable British ingredients.
