M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is to open in Silicon Valley in December 2026, with reservations now available for the 263-room property.

The hotel forms part of a mixed-use development in Sunnyvale and will become the latest addition to Millennium Hotels and Resorts’ M Social portfolio.
Designed around a combination of accommodation, food and drink, meetings and social spaces, the hotel is intended to serve business and leisure travellers alongside the local community.
“M Social Hotel Sunnyvale marks an important milestone in the growth of the M Social brand and reflects our confidence in Silicon Valley as one of the world’s most dynamic innovation hubs,” said Kwek Eik Sheng, Executive Director, Millennium Hotels and Resorts. “As travel and guest expectations continue to evolve, we saw an opportunity to create a hotel that goes beyond accommodation to become a vibrant lifestyle destination that reflects Silicon Valley’s entrepreneurial spirit. We believe M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is well positioned to create sustainable value for our guests, owners, partners and the wider community.”
BDE Architecture and Mazzarini & Co. are responsible for the design.
Rather than a traditional lobby arrangement, the ground-floor areas will incorporate lounge seating, flexible gathering spaces and collaborative working areas intended to change in use throughout the day.
The property has been built to LEED Gold standards and will incorporate energy-efficient building systems alongside a range of digital guest services.
These will include mobile room keys, self-service check-in kiosks and robotic service assistants.
Guests will also have access to Aiello, an in-room AI assistant designed to handle requests, provide recommendations and offer information during their stay.
“At M Social Hotel Sunnyvale, we set out to create a welcoming gathering place,” said Jakub Skyvara, General Manager of M Social Hotel Sunnyvale. “It is more than a hotel; it is a vibrant gathering place where travellers, creators, entrepreneurs, and the local community can connect, collaborate, and be inspired.”
The hotel will comprise 263 guest rooms and suites designed for business, leisure and extended-stay use.
Its food and beverage offer will include Beast & Butterflies, a California-inspired restaurant centred around fire-led cooking and regional ingredients.
A rooftop beehive will supply honey for use within the hotel.
ctrl+B(ar) will operate as an informal lounge serving coffee, cocktails, California wines and light dishes, while Byte+Hub Market will provide a self-service grab-and-go offer throughout the day and night.
M Social Hotel Sunnyvale will also feature approximately 28,000 sq ft of indoor and outdoor meeting and event space.
The 6,600 sq ft Quantum Ballroom will include 20-foot ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows and a 12-by-40-foot LED video wall.
Meeting facilities will also incorporate 75-inch digital collaboration boards with video conferencing and screen-sharing capabilities.
Additional spaces will include The Hub for breakout sessions and training, The Grove outdoor courtyard and The Commons, a 10,000 sq ft outdoor area for larger events and community gatherings.
The hotel is located close to Highway 101 and San José Mineta International Airport, with access to technology campuses and corporate headquarters across Silicon Valley.
M Social Hotel Sunnyvale is scheduled to welcome its first guests in December 2026.
