voco Grand Central Hotel has extended its partnership with Glasgow City FC for a second consecutive season.

The Glasgow city centre hotel will continue working with the women’s football club throughout the 2026/27 season, with the partnership recognising player performances across 28 games.
Player of the Match awards will be presented throughout the campaign, culminating in an end-of-season Player of the Year award.
Marcello Ventisei, General Manager at voco Grand Central, said: “We are delighted to be continuing our partnership with Glasgow City FC and to be entering what will be our second season together.
“Glasgow City FC is a fantastic representation of our city, and we have really enjoyed celebrating the achievements of the players.
“This year gives us an opportunity to take the partnership even further, from recognising individual performances through the Player of the Match awards to celebrating the season’s outstanding player through the Player of the Year award.
“We’re excited to build on this fantastic partnership and to welcome the team into voco Grand Central for a number of opportunities both on and off the pitch.”
Founded in 1998, Glasgow City FC has competed in the Scottish Women’s Premier League since its formation in 2002 and has won a record 16 league titles.
Laura Montgomery, Chief Executive at Glasgow City FC, said: “voco Grand Central has been fantastic in helping us recognise the achievements of our players, and we’re delighted to continue this partnership for another season.
“This season we are asking everyone involved in the women’s game to be louder not just through noise, but by taking action. It is encouraging to see voco Grand Central continue its commitment to the growth of the women’s game in the city we both call home.”
The renewed agreement will also create opportunities for Glasgow City FC and the hotel to work together through activity away from matchdays during the season.
