Marston’s has appointed two new Operations Directors as the pub company restructures its regional operations to support growth across the South of England and Wales.
Lee Nixon has joined as Operations Director for the South East, while Jo Hall has been appointed Operations Director for the South West.
Both will report to Chief Operating Officer Neil Campbell and join Marston’s senior leadership team.
The appointments come as Marston’s expands its operational structure from three regional divisions to five: North, Midlands, East, South East and South West.
The company said the new structure better reflects the geographical spread and changing priorities of its estate of more than 1,300 pubs, bars and inns.
Nixon brings more than 25 years of UK hospitality experience to Marston’s.
His previous senior operational roles include positions with Honest Burgers, Ole & Steen, Costa Coffee and Le Pain Quotidien.
Hall joins from the Co-op, where she served as Head of Retail Operations for Convenience.
She brings more than 20 years of operational leadership experience, having also worked with BP, Sainsbury’s and Lidl.
Nixon and Hall will work alongside Marston’s existing Operations Directors.
John Green will continue to lead the North division, Claire Robertson will take responsibility for the Midlands, while Jared Sedgwick will lead the newly created East division.
Marston’s said the regional structure is intended to bring senior operational leadership closer to individual pubs, allowing teams to respond more quickly to opportunities and challenges within their respective markets.
