Market Halls has reported 16% like-for-like growth across its bars and 6% across its trader partners during its first quarter and summer trading period.

The food hall operator said performance was supported by food and drink sales, increased corporate bookings, expansion of its Games Hall competitive socialising concept and its summer events programme.
Shelter Hall in Brighton delivered 10.7% like-for-like growth during the period, alongside trading across Market Halls’ London estate.
Sporting events formed a significant part of the summer programme, with venues screening the FIFA World Cup and offering hospitality packages incorporating food, drink and merchandise.
Market Halls recorded 13.9% like-for-like sales growth during the tournament, increasing to 22.8% during its final week.
The group also operated a Wimbledon pop-up bar in Hanover Square in partnership with New West End Company during the tennis championships.
Its Hall Pass loyalty app recorded a 47% increase in registrations, while spend through the platform grew by almost 200%.
Market Halls said members of the loyalty programme recorded an average transaction value 30% higher than customers who were not signed up.
The company is also expanding its trader line-up at Canary Wharf this autumn.
Contemporary Indian concept Amma & Atta will join the venue on 1 October, followed by fried chicken operator Coqfighter on 21 October and Japanese handroll and sushi concept Takusan on 2 November.
Dan Hills, CEO of Market Halls, said: “We’ve had a fantastic summer and first quarter in 2026, with strong growth from both our bars and traders, and momentum across every part of Market Halls. It’s particularly encouraging to see such broad-based growth, from our programme of summer activity, through to Games Hall, Hall Pass and corporate events.
“The World Cup and Wimbledon gave us the opportunity to create some brilliant experiences for our guests, and the response exceeded our expectations. Most importantly, it reinforces what we’re seeing across our business; that people are continuing to seek out great food and drink, live events and memorable, shared experiences.
“We’re carrying this momentum into the rest of the year. With exciting plans for the festive season, new traders joining us across our venues and continued investment in the guest experience, we’re focused on giving guests even more reasons to visit Market Halls.”
Market Halls currently operates locations at Oxford Circus, Victoria, Paddington and Canary Wharf in London, alongside Shelter Hall in Brighton.
The company said it continues to assess opportunities to expand its estate in London and other UK markets.
