Chedi Hospitality has appointed Tristan Delmas as General Manager of Chedi Wadi Safar, its forthcoming ultra-luxury property in Diriyah, Saudi Arabia.
Delmas will oversee the hotel’s pre-opening and operational strategy, including the development of its guest experience, service approach and positioning ahead of launch.
He brings more than 15 years of international experience spanning luxury hotel operations, pre-openings and hospitality advisory.
Most recently, Delmas served as Head of Hospitality at Barnes International, where he led the development of the group’s hospitality division.
Prior to this, he was Hotel Manager, Pre-Opening at One&Only One Za’abeel in Dubai, working across operational readiness for the hotel, residences and food and beverage operation.
His career also includes serving as Hotel Manager at Burj Al Arab and leadership roles at Four Seasons Hotel George V in Paris and Park Hyatt properties in Beijing and Washington, D.C.
Delmas has additionally worked with hospitality advisory company HVS and on development projects across Saudi Arabia, the Maldives, Europe and the wider Middle East and North Africa region.

Chedi Wadi Safar will be located within the Wadi Safar development close to the UNESCO World Heritage Site of At-Turaif and approximately 15 minutes from central Riyadh.
The property will comprise approximately 85 suites and villas alongside 20 branded private villas designed by Bjarke Ingels Group.
It will be located within the Greg Norman-designed Wadi Safar Signature Golf Course and will include dining and wellness facilities.
Chedi Wadi Safar will also become the first hotel in the portfolio to fully implement Chedi Hospitality’s refreshed brand identity and its new A Voyage Unbound positioning.
