Castlebridge Hospitality Management has appointed Janet Roberts as Director of People & Culture as the business continues its growth across the UK hospitality sector.

Roberts joins Castlebridge from Cycas Hospitality and will become part of the company’s Leadership Team.
In her new role, she will help shape Castlebridge’s people strategy, with responsibility for areas including talent development, employee engagement, learning and development, wellbeing, diversity and inclusion and career progression.
Roberts brings more than 40 years of hospitality experience to the position.
Her career began after studying Hotel Management and gaining experience across hotel operations before moving into specialist People, HR and Learning & Development roles.
She has since worked across multiple countries, hotel brands and cultures, combining operational experience with leadership roles focused on developing teams and organisational culture.
Her appointment comes as Castlebridge continues to expand its managed hotel portfolio and invest in attracting, developing and retaining employees across the business.
The company said maintaining its culture and values will remain a priority as it grows, with a continued focus on creating an inclusive and supportive working environment.
Roberts will also support initiatives around leadership development and employee engagement as Castlebridge seeks to strengthen career opportunities across its hotels.
The appointment forms part of the company’s wider approach to Environmental, Social and Governance priorities, which includes employee wellbeing and development alongside sustainability, community partnerships, local suppliers and charitable initiatives.
Craig Patterson, Managing Director of Castlebridge Hospitality Management, said: “We are absolutely delighted to welcome Janet to Castlebridge.
“As we continue to grow our portfolio and strengthen our position as a leading hotel management company, investing in our people remains one of our highest priorities.
“Janet brings outstanding experience, energy and expertise that will help us further enhance the culture that makes Castlebridge such a special place to work.
“Our success has always been built on the strength of our people. We are committed to creating an inclusive, supportive and empowering environment where individuals can develop their careers, fulfil their potential and feel genuinely valued.
“Janet’s appointment reinforces that commitment and will help ensure we continue to grow in a way that remains true to our values, our people and our purpose.”
Roberts added: “I am excited to be joining Castlebridge Hospitality Management at such an important stage in its growth journey.
“The organisation’s people-first culture, commitment to development and focus on creating positive impact for its teams, guests and communities really resonated with me.
“I look forward to working with the talented Leadership team and all colleagues across the business to build on these strong foundations and support the next chapter of Castlebridge’s success.”
