Red Sea Global has opened Rosewood AMAALA, the third resort to welcome guests at its developing Triple Bay wellness destination on Saudi Arabia’s northwestern Red Sea coast.

The opening follows Four Seasons Resort and Residences AMAALA, which welcomed the destination’s first guests in June, and Six Senses AMAALA, which followed in July.
Designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel, Rosewood AMAALA occupies approximately 40 hectares and has been developed around its Red Sea coastal and Tabuk mountain setting.
The low-density resort comprises 110 keys spread across pavilions, suites and villas, with private swimming pools incorporated into the accommodation alongside shared resort pools.
Two natural rock pools positioned along the Red Sea coastline also form part of the property.
John Pagano, Group CEO at Red Sea Global, said: “Rosewood AMAALA strengthens the destination’s position as a world-class wellness destination by bringing together Rosewood’s distinctive approach to luxury hospitality with personalized wellbeing experiences.
“Together with our growing collection of wellness operators and hospitality partners, the resort expands the range of experiences available to guests seeking restorative, meaningful and immersive stays along the Red Sea coast.”
Alongside the hotel, Rosewood Residences AMAALA comprises 26 branded residences, ranging from three- to five-bedroom villas, with interiors by designer Tristan Auer.
Food and beverage spans eight concepts across the property.
Rosewood’s current offer includes progressive Middle Eastern dining at Saha, Mediterranean restaurant Olea, live-fire cooking at The Grill Bar & Restaurant, coastal dining at Puro Cove Club and wellness-focused food and drinks at Asaya Lounge.
Wellbeing forms a central part of the resort through Asaya, Rosewood’s wellness concept.
The 2,100 sq m spa includes six treatment rooms and a double treatment suite, private hammam, separate wet areas with sauna and steam facilities and two fitness centres equipped with Technogym Artis.
Yoga and movement studios also form part of the facility.
Social House provides a separate private day-spa experience which can be reserved by a single family or group for the day.
Rosewood has developed additional wellbeing programming around the resort’s natural setting, including guided breathwork, sound baths, indoor and outdoor exercise and its daily Sukūn Hour focused on reflection and stillness.
Families are catered for through the Rosewood Explorers children’s programme alongside wider recreational facilities.
Sustainability also forms part of the wider AMAALA development strategy.
Rosewood AMAALA, alongside the rest of the destination, is designed to operate entirely on solar energy, while Red Sea Global is targeting a 30% net conservation gain by 2040 across AMAALA.
The opening adds another major international hospitality brand to Triple Bay as Red Sea Global continues its phased delivery of the destination.
H&C News reported earlier this month that Four Seasons and Six Senses had established the first stage of AMAALA’s wellness hospitality offer, with Rosewood among the brands scheduled to follow.
Red Sea Global says another five resorts will join Rosewood, Four Seasons and Six Senses in the coming months, alongside branded residences, integrated wellness facilities, a marina, retail, destination dining and the Corallium marine life experiential institute.
Rosewood AMAALA is now accepting reservations, with the hotel’s website introducing an opening offer incorporating breakfast, an accommodation upgrade subject to availability and daily wellbeing credit for Asaya.
