August 14, 2026

Ella Resorts has appointed Claire Griffiths as Trade Relations Manager for the UK as the hospitality group looks to strengthen its presence in one of its largest source markets.

Griffiths joins the trade team led by Sales Manager Miranda Boura, who has been developing Ella Resorts’ relationships with the UK travel trade since 2023.

In her new role, Griffiths will focus on expanding the group’s retail distribution network and developing relationships with travel agents, homeworker networks and tour operators.

She will also support field-based trade activity and work alongside Boura on commercial partnerships and wider UK sales growth.

Griffiths brings more than two decades of experience across luxury travel, hotel representation and tour operating.

Most recently she was Associate Director at Saranta Associates, following sales and marketing positions with Grecotel Hotels & Resorts.

Earlier in her career, she spent around a decade as UK Sales Manager for Sani Resort & Ikos Resorts.

Her appointment comes as Ella Resorts continues to expand its portfolio of beachfront properties across the Greek islands.

The group currently operates Ella Elissa and family-focused Ella Helea in Rhodes, Ella Alkyna in Corfu and Ella Rocrita in Crete.

Ella Rocrita is the newest addition to the operating portfolio and is located at Mochlos on the eastern coast of Crete.

The resort combines accommodation with restaurants, wellness facilities, pools and family activities as part of the brand’s all-inclusive offer.

Further expansion is planned for Corfu, where adults-only Ella Elyra is scheduled to open in summer 2027.

The five-star beachfront resort will include private-pool suites, wellness facilities and a food and beverage programme spanning Greek, Mediterranean and international cuisine.

Ella Resorts is also developing its guest offer around its EllaScapes programme, which connects visitors with cultural and destination experiences, alongside its wider Roée wellness proposition.

Griffiths said: “I am thrilled to join Ella Resorts at such a pivotal moment in the brand’s international expansion.

“Ella Resorts represents an exciting, fresh approach to elevated hospitality. I look forward to working closely with our valued UK travel trade partners, sharing our vision, and driving strong, mutually beneficial growth across the market.”

Her appointment strengthens an existing commercial structure led by Boura, whose remit includes international sales strategy, business development and luxury trade management.

Ella Resorts said the UK represents one of its largest markets, making stronger relationships with travel agents and tour operators a priority as the portfolio expands.

Panos Almyrantis, Chief Operations & Commercial Officer at Ella Resorts, said: “Expanding our presence in the UK requires partners who not only understand the nuances of the travel trade, but who also share our passion for exceptional hospitality.

“Bringing Claire on board to further support the work Miranda is doing will enhance Ella Resorts identity in the UK market.

“Claire’s deep-rooted agency connections and hands-on activation, paired with Miranda’s strategic commercial drive, position us perfectly to strengthen our trade partnerships and accelerate our momentum across the market.”

The appointment comes ahead of the next phase of Ella Resorts’ development, with the 2027 launch of Ella Elyra set to extend its presence in Corfu and broaden its adults-only resort portfolio.
