Chaiiwala has opened its first store in Woking, continuing the Indian street food café brand’s expansion across the UK.

Located at 3 Chobham Road, the new café is Chaiiwala’s second location in Surrey and will serve the brand’s full food and drink menu.
Founded in Leicester in 2015, Chaiiwala has built its offer around Karak chaii and Indian street food, with the tea freshly brewed on site using a blend of seven spices.
The Woking menu includes Wala Wraps, Bombay Bowls and Toasties alongside sweet dishes and hot and cold drinks.
Higher-protein options also feature across the menu, while The Wala Box and The Family Platter have been developed for individual and group dining occasions.
The site has been opened by franchise partners Aadil and Usman, who now operate more than a dozen Chaiiwala locations.
Aadil initially became involved with the brand as a food delivery driver before developing a portfolio of stores alongside business partner Usman.
The Woking opening forms part of Chaiiwala’s wider growth strategy, with the company targeting 500 locations globally over the next ten years.
Alongside its established UK presence, the business is continuing to expand into new towns and cities while developing its franchise network.
Sohail Ali, Co-Founder of Chaiiwala, said: “We are thrilled to be opening our doors in Woking. It is a town with a diverse, food loving community and a real appetite for something different, and we cannot wait to introduce them to our menu and our Karak chaii.
“We are looking forward to playing a role in the local community and becoming a new destination for unique Indian flavours.
“Aadil and Usman have built something remarkable together and Woking is a well-deserved next chapter in their story. Their commitment to the brand and to their customers is exactly what Chaiiwala is about, and we are proud to be growing alongside them.”
