Carmelina’s to Open at The Webster Covent Garden This Autumn

August 13, 2026

Carmelina’s, a new Italian all-day dining concept, is set to open at The Webster Covent Garden this autumn.

Carmelina’s

The restaurant will form part of the food and beverage offer at the new 167-room lifestyle hotel overlooking Lincoln’s Inn Fields, which is now taking reservations for stays beginning in October 2026.

Carmelina’s has been created by hospitality trio Daniele Pampagnin, Jake Mason and Carmela Pia, bringing together experience across food, operations and creative direction.

The ground-floor restaurant will accommodate approximately 100 guests and feature an open kitchen, counter dining and dedicated wine bar.

Its design has been developed by architecture and interiors studio Red Deer, which is also responsible for the wider transformation of The Webster Covent Garden.

The interiors will combine black-and-white tiled flooring with natural materials and Italian-influenced details.

Leading the food offer will be co-founder Daniele Pampagnin, whose previous experience includes Nobu and Soho House, with Head Chef Simone Serafini overseeing the kitchen day-to-day.

Menus will focus on fresh handmade pasta, seasonal ingredients and seafood.

Planned dishes include Deep Red Sicilian Prawns and Porchetta with Friarielli, alongside a breakfast menu featuring Eggs Royale, Focaccia Scrambled Eggs and Diavola Shakshuka.

The Webster’s official Carmelina’s page also highlights dishes including Ricotta Stuffed Fiori di Zucca, Branzino all’Acqua Pazza and a selection of pasta dishes.

An all-day café and bar will sit alongside the restaurant offer, extending onto an outdoor terrace.

The Webster currently describes the space as The Terrace, which will transition from coffee during the day to aperitivo and drinks later on.

Completing the food and beverage line-up will be Carla’s List, a late-night cocktail bar located on the lower level.

The space will provide a more intimate drinks-led setting and forms one of three dining and social concepts within the hotel.

The release identifies Peppe Corallo as Bar Manager, with the venue expected to combine cocktails with live entertainment and events and accommodate up to 60 guests for private functions and celebrations.

The wider Webster Covent Garden development comprises 167 guestrooms across ten floors and has been designed by Red Deer following the conversion of the former Club Quarters property.

Jake Mason said: “It’s about that Italian way of life, where you come in for one thing and somehow you’re still there six hours later.

“A coffee becomes lunch, lunch rolls into aperitivo. It’s generous food, warm service and real hospitality. The kind of place you never feel in a hurry to leave.”

Carmelina’s will join a growing number of new food and beverage openings in Covent Garden, with further hospitality concepts scheduled to launch across the West End during the autumn.
