The Meadows in Bransholme has officially reopened following a £376,142 investment.
The pub reopened on Thursday 23 July after a transformational refurbishment.
The Meadows is part of Proper Pubs, the award-winning community wet-led operator division of Admiral Taverns, which operates more than 200 pubs across England, Scotland and Wales.
Behind the bar is experienced operator Steph Moynes, who has worked in the pub industry for almost two decades.
As the new operator at The Meadows, Moynes has created a lively social hub for local residents, further strengthening the pub’s place at the heart of the community.
Inside, the pub has been completely transformed with new flooring, fixtures and fittings throughout.
The refurbished venue also includes two new dartboards, a new pool table and six new televisions for customers to enjoy.
Outside, The Meadows has been refreshed with new lighting, signage and a fresh coat of paint.
The beer garden has also been refurbished and now has capacity to seat around 150 people.
Steph Moynes, Operator of The Meadows, said: “It has been great to reopen our doors and welcome both new and familiar faces into The Meadows.
“I am so pleased with how the refurbishment has turned out, the pub looks terrific!
“I would like to say a massive thank you to the local community who have been so supportive since we reopened.
“I would also like to thank my team and the team at Proper Pubs who have been incredible throughout this entire journey.”
Alongside its drinks selection, The Meadows will host a busy schedule of entertainment.
This will include weekly DJs and karaoke on Friday nights, as well as live music every Saturday.
Moynes is also hoping to support all aspects of community life by collecting food to donate to the local foodbank.
She also plans to support Claire House Hospice by organising charity events in the future.

Proper Pubs continues to support communities through an annual schedule of events and fundraising initiatives.
This year, over Easter, it collected 21,619 Easter eggs for local charities.
In 2025, operators collected 17,500 selection boxes to donate to local charities and communities in need at Christmas.
They also raised £80,255 for Admiral Taverns’ charity partner, Claire House Hospice.
Last year, Proper Pubs donated enough food to local foodbanks across the UK to feed 1,300 people for a week.
The operator has also been recognised in the UK-wide defibrillator installation campaign, which has already saved 11 lives.
In 2026, Proper Pubs was listed as a finalist in the Best Community Pub category at the Great British Publican Awards.
It was previously crowned Community Pub Operator at the Publican Awards in 2024.
