Haven Rolls Out Life-Saving Anaphylaxis Kits Across All 39 UK Holiday Parks

June 22, 2026

Haven has completed the rollout of life-saving anaphylaxis kits across all 39 of its UK holiday parks as part of a new partnership with Kitt Medical and Natasha’s Foundation.

Haven Rolls Out Life-Saving Anaphylaxis Kits Across All 39 UK Holiday Parks

The initiative includes the installation of Anaphylaxis Kitts containing emergency adrenaline auto-injectors (AAIs) alongside Continuing Professional Development (CPD) accredited training for more than 840 Haven first aiders.

The kits have been installed within the main restaurant areas of each Haven park and are designed to support the company’s existing allergen management procedures by providing emergency treatment in the event of a severe allergic reaction.

The programme positions Haven among a growing number of organisations investing in enhanced allergy awareness and emergency response measures, helping to create safer environments for guests, visitors and employees.

Kitt Medical’s Anaphylaxis Kitt Service has already played a role in saving more than 30 lives across the UK since its launch in 2023. The company secured investment through BBC Dragon’s Den from entrepreneurs Deborah Meaden and Steven Bartlett.

As part of the partnership, Haven’s first aid teams have completed additional training developed by Kitt Medical in collaboration with Anaphylaxis UK and healthcare professionals Professor Adam Fox and Dr Evans-Howells. The training focuses on recognising severe allergic reactions and administering emergency treatment when required.

The service also ensures that all adrenaline auto-injectors remain in date and are replaced promptly following use or before expiry.

Alongside the deployment of the kits, Haven will work with Natasha’s Foundation to increase awareness and understanding of food allergies across its parks and head office operations.

The initiative has already proven valuable in real-life situations. One incident involved a seven-month-old child experiencing a severe allergic reaction while trying solid foods at Haven’s Presthaven Holiday Park. The emergency kit was used to provide immediate assistance before medical professionals took over care.

In a separate incident at Haven Craig Tara, a member of the security team received emergency treatment following an allergic reaction to almonds while on duty.

Peter Blake, Chief Operating Officer at Haven, said: “It’s important to us that everyone feels welcome at Haven and can have a great time on our parks.

“Partnering with Kitt Medical and Natasha’s Foundation will give those with allergies added assurance that we are doing all we can to protect them. By installing life-saving equipment, training first aiders and raising awareness of allergic conditions we are committed to building even safer environments on our parks.”

Deborah Meaden, investor in Kitt Medical, said: “Anyone can develop an allergy to anything at any time in their lives and with avoidable anaphylaxis deaths appearing in the news too regularly, it’s clear there’s more that needs to be done to raise awareness and increase preparedness.

“That’s why we’re delighted to be deploying Anaphylaxis Kitts across Haven’s many iconic UK parks.”

Nadim Ednan-Laperouse OBE, co-founder of Natasha’s Foundation, added: “We’re excited to embark on this project with Haven. Through campaigning and awareness, education and clinical research our Foundation aims to create a safer world for people living with food allergies.

“Haven will help us reach even more people in this mission.”

The rollout reflects Haven’s ongoing commitment to guest safety, accessibility and wellbeing, while helping raise awareness of food allergies across the wider hospitality and leisure sector.
