The Clink Charity wins The Robin Corbett Award for Prisoner Reintegration 2026 for reducing reoffending

June 13, 2026

The Clink Charity has been named the winner of The Robin Corbett Award for Prisoner Reintegration 2026, recognising its contribution to prison rehabilitation and reducing reoffending across the UK.

The award was presented during a special ceremony held at the House of Lords on Tuesday evening, where The Clink Charity’s Chief Executive, Donna-Marie Edmonds, accepted the award on behalf of the organisation.

As part of the award, The Clink Charity received a commemorative glass plaque, donated by the Timpson Group, together with a £5,000 grant that will help the charity continue its work supporting people in custody and prison leavers through rehabilitation, training and employment programmes.

Sponsored by The Hadley Trust, a grant-making charity focused on improving the lives of disadvantaged people, particularly within the criminal justice system and among young people, The Robin Corbett Award for Prisoner Reintegration recognises organisations delivering meaningful outcomes for people leaving prison and rebuilding their lives.

The award acknowledges the collective efforts of The Clink Charity’s trainers, managers, chefs, support workers, head office team and, most importantly, the students who participate in its programmes. Through practical training, education and employment opportunities, The Clink Charity works to equip individuals with the skills, confidence and support needed to successfully reintegrate into society and reduce the likelihood of reoffending.

The Clink Charity also congratulated the other organisations recognised by the judges for their contribution to prisoner reintegration.

The Coming Home Project was awarded Highly Commended for its work supporting women involved in the criminal justice system. The organisation advocates for person-centred, preventative and community-based support to help women rebuild their lives following release from custody.

Forests With Impact received the Commended Award in recognition of its innovative approach to creating employment opportunities through commercial tree nurseries operating within three UK prisons.

The Robin Corbett Award continues to highlight the vital role charities and social enterprises play in supporting prison rehabilitation, reducing reoffending and creating positive pathways for people leaving custody.
