Eagle Bar at The Chancery Rosewood has unveiled its second terrace bar, completing the development of a dual-venue concept designed to offer guests two distinctive rooftop experiences in the heart of London.

Located on the seventh floor of the luxury hotel, the new opening joins the original Eagle Bar, which launched in September 2025, creating complementary venues positioned on opposite sides of the property’s striking central atrium.
The expansion introduces Upper West, a new terrace destination overlooking Hyde Park, while the existing space evolves into Upper East, offering views across Grosvenor Square.
Together, the venues have been designed to cater to different social occasions and guest preferences while maintaining the elevated hospitality experience associated with The Chancery Rosewood.
Upper West has been created as an aperitif-focused destination centred around outdoor socialising, sunset views and a lively atmosphere. The venue’s beverage programme places particular emphasis on Champagne, large-format wine service and aperitif-inspired cocktails, complemented by regular DJ performances.
The terrace is intended to capture the energy of golden-hour gatherings, offering guests a setting for informal celebrations and relaxed social occasions.
In contrast, Upper East continues the original Eagle Bar concept, drawing inspiration from the heritage and sophistication of classic American bars. The venue focuses on expertly crafted cocktails, premium spirits and refined service in an intimate environment enhanced by live piano performances.
The cocktail menu pays tribute to iconic American drinking culture, reinterpreting classic serves through contemporary techniques and ingredients.
The dual concept reflects The Chancery Rosewood’s ambition to create distinctive hospitality experiences that appeal to a wide range of guests while strengthening its position within London’s luxury food and beverage landscape.
The venues are led by Liana Oster, Director of Bars at The Chancery Rosewood, and General Manager Maura Milia, whose combined international experience spans major hospitality markets including Melbourne, New York, London and Mexico.
Their leadership has helped shape a concept that balances innovation, hospitality and destination-led experiences while celebrating the role of premium beverage culture within luxury hotels.
