By Angela Green: Master Bao heading West to East.
Following the success of their kiosk in Westfield London, Master Bao is bringing their celebration of Taiwanese street food to Westfield Stratford City. Opening on 23rd May, this new site promises to offer all the Master Bao classics, PLUS a brand new bubble tea menu, exclusive dishes and their very own noodle room.
Taking all they learnt at White City and levelling it up, expect Master Bao’s signature Taiwanese fried chicken, the best bao buns in London, fresh noodles made in-house and rice dishes, as well as a beef noodle soup and a hot chicken bao that are exclusive dishes to Master Bao Stratford.
Alongside new food additions, the new site will also be introducing a bubble tea menu, featuring a classic milk tea with brown sugar tapioca and a fruity peach tea.
Designed and inspired by the street food stalls seen in Taiwan, everything at Master Bao is cooked to order – it’s fast, but it isn’t fast food. Focusing on quality, ingredients are sourced from small suppliers around South East London and Asia, with a custom house beer from Brick Brewery and meat from Flock & Herd.
A true celebration of Taiwanese street food, Master Bao combines an energetic attitude, fast-paced style of service and professional know-how, to create the best place to refuel after a day of shopping.
The team, who also run Mr Bao Daddy Bao, are excited to announce the opening of their fourth site. Co-founder Abhinav Malde said: “we’ve had our eye on a site in Westfield Stratford for a while so jumped at the opportunity to bring our menu to a new part of London. We’re really taken this opportunity to build on everything we’ve learnt in the past – from the menu to design – to make this new Master Bao the best it can be.”
