The industry sector and geographic reach of the Kitchen Porters Club just keeps growing, confirming the esteem across our industry that kitchen porters are held in.
This is probably best illustrated by the range of kitchen porters in the past seven months that have won the coveted title Kitchen Porter of the Month.
From York to Jersey, from care catering to restaurants, as you will see in the list below, the winners cover almost every sector of our industry across many locations.
Every month the winners of the Kitchen Porters Club Kitchen Porter of the Month automatically become members and receive a members apron. There are plenty of aprons available, and the Kitchen Porters Club Kitchen love sending them out.
Head of the Kitchen Porter of the Month judging panel Meiko UK managing director, Paul Anderson told us: “It is a pleasure reviewing the entries for the Kitchen Porters Club Kitchen Porter of the Month competition. It is also a great pleasure when the awards are announced, as we often see happy kitchen porters and the colleagues that nominated them celebrating on social media. Many are modelling the Kitchen Porters Club official aprons we send the winners, and as such proud to be members of the Kitchen Porters Club, as they should be.”
