Incipio Group, the operator behind venues such as The Libertine, The Prince, and Pergola on the Wharf has today announced it will bring an elevated F&B offer to the new Olympia development in West London, opening several concepts of premium dining and drinking experiences.
The £1.3bn Olympia 14-acre development is being spearheaded by Yoo Capital and Deutsche Finance International. The project has been co-designed by Heatherwick Studio and SPPARC and will open in Summer 2025. The ambitious project sees the transformation of Olympia, a historic site that boasts a legacy of 137 years, into what will be a globally renowned state-of-the-art hub of culture and entertainment. Entrusting Incipio Group with a significant element of the food and beverage operations shows the commitment to excellence and diversity Yoo Capital aims to offer future visitors and locals alike.
Once complete, the rejuvenated Olympia will be a global destination for events, entertainment and innovation, with a diverse and extensive range of facilities on offer. The historic exhibition venues are being revamped with the addition of two globally renowned hotels, a great F&B scene, offices, a new AEG music arena, and a performing arts school and theatre which will generate a projected footfall of over 10 million visitors per annum.
Incipio Group will command 39,000 square feet across the development, introducing several distinct concepts ranging from casual ‘grab and go’ offers to premium dining and drinking experiences. With an emphasis on providing a broad breadth of offerings, Incipio Group has been selected due to their exceptional track record of operating destination venues in London.
Incipio Group began as a group by transforming overlooked and forgotten spaces into destination venues attracting thousands of guests each week. One of these venues was Pergola Olympia, a temporary pop-up rooftop bar located on the top of an unused car park on the Olympia development from 2018 to 2021. The group led by CEO Ed Devenport has since opened a number of award-winning bars and restaurants including Pergola on the Wharf, The Libertine and The Palm House.
Ed Devenport, CEO of Incipio Group, expressed his excitement saying, “Olympia is without doubt the most exciting opportunity we have come across as a group; it’s rich history, tradition, cultural and creative significance make it a stand-out destination within the UK. It presents an unmatched canvas for us to curate experiences that are not just about food and drink but about creating memories. We understand the legacy of this iconic landmark and see it as an opportunity to blend its rich and fascinating past with the vibrancy of its future. Incipio Group are excited to introduce several diverse and captivating concepts. We want every visitor to find a story that resonates with them, making their visit to Olympia not just a trip, but an unforgettable experience.”
Lloyd Lee, Managing Partner at Yoo Capital, said, “Working with Incipio Group isn’t just about partnering with a renowned brand; it’s about aligning with visionaries in the hospitality sector. Ed and his team at Incipio have consistently demonstrated an unmatched ability to breathe life into spaces and create unique experiences for their guests. Their reputation, coupled with their innate flair for curating impressive spaces, underscores why they are a valued partner to Olympia. We have every confidence that with Incipio’s involvement, the food and beverage landscape of the development will not only be elevated but ensure Olympia is globally regarded as being a spectacular cultural destination.”
Although specific details about each of the dining concepts are yet to be revealed, visitors can expect a unique blend of cuisines, offerings and experiences, all set against the inspiring backdrop of the transformed iconic landmark.
