The first stage of the 2015 ALMR Operations Managers Awards closes on 31 July and companies are being reminded to nominate their best ops managers now. Nominees must also complete and submit their entry papers before the 31 July deadline.
Nick Bish, ALMR said: “We have been delighted with the number and range of companies that have nominated members of their operations team this year. Every year when we launch the Awards we are gratified to see companies that have previously never engaged, nominate one or two members of their operations team.
“We often hear companies say how good their ops teams are and these Awards are the opportunity to recognise that talent publicly and invest in the development of their people.”
The Awards are split into two categories, one for Business Development Managers in the leased estate and one for Area Managers in the managed estate, and test the skills, enthusiasm and professionalism of the UK’s top ops managers. The Awards incorporate all aspects of licensed hospitality and seek to nurture and reward the sector’s most talented individuals.
After the entry papers have been marked, the top 20 finalists will then be judged during a day in the field by one of the Mentor Judges before they enjoy the three day MasterClass on business strategy and leadership insight.
The two winners will then be announced at the ALMR Christmas Lunch on 17 December.
With under a month until the deadline for entry papers, the ALMR is encouraging all companies seeking to identify and develop their talent to nominate now here
