Caterer Kudos, in conjunction with Central Hall Westminster, has seen an opportunity to capitalise on the historic venue’s great positioning by opening a public retail catering outlet, in the form of a ‘street café’.
Located adjacent to the main entrance and blessed with tremendous views over Westminster Abbey, the Houses of Parliament and Big Ben, Kudos will operate the ‘Street Café’ from March through to September, when Westminster is at its busiest.
The concept behind the new design was to create speedy, ‘grab & go’ food and drink that guests of Central Hall and the general public can pick up whilst at work, commuting or visiting Westminster as tourists.
A contemporary purpose-built serving station has been designed with a new and enticing menu, which is 100% homemade by Kudos at Central Hall Westminster and consists of freshly prepared wraps, sandwiches, salad, pasta pots and sweet treats from the on-site bakery.
Josh Beth, Retail Director at Kudos said, “We spotted the opportunity to capitalise on a busy footfall area, and together with CHW, decided to add this additional area allowing us to cater for a larger market. The surrounding area attracts many tourists and sees a vast amount of commuters pass through daily. The street café offers a fast and efficient service with our menus offering a taste of the best locally sourced produce, all prepared onsite.”
