NT Assure has recently launched some new additions to its Smart Innovation range of Apps coinciding with the announcement that NT Assure is partnering with a leading 5 star hotel to bring real time allergen information to the fingertips of all its customers.
The London hotel is working with NT Assure to implement its iPad app known as Smart Menu throughout all its restaurants.
For customers with specific dietary needs
Smart Menu is the first tablet app to be able to provide customers with specific dietary needs with accurate answers on the contents of the food they eat in restaurants, hotels and cafes at the point of sale.
Ellis Northover, Head of Business Development said:
“This is a significant step forward for the foodservice sector, our clients want to comply with their obligations under the Food Information Regulation, but until now did not know how they could achieve it.”
Northover goes on to say that:
“From December 2014, all caterers serving food to the end consumer will need to be able to identify which if any of the major serious allergens are present in the food they sell.”
Communicate accurate allergen, dietary and nutrition information
The launch of Smart Chef and Smart Menu is a clear indicator of NT Assure’s plans to build on the success of its Smart Supplier software, after significant client wins during 2014.
The Smart Innovation range has been developed by a team of experienced food compliance specialists and software engineers over the last 4 years to enable foodservice businesses to communicate accurate allergen, dietary and nutrition information about their dishes, whilst at the same time demonstrating compliance to the Food Information Regulations.
Smart Chef is an intuitive App providing a simple way for chefs and product developers to create new menus, whilst generating cost, ingredient, allergen and nutritional profiles for every dish.
It provides real time allergen, nutrition and dietary information to customers via a tablet app at the point of sale. The Smart Menu app is ideal for hotels, restaurants, cafes, pubs and bars – where it is not always easy to find ingredient information.
All of the Apps allow seamless bespoke branding and sub branding which works on IOS, Windows and Android phones and tablets.
