Hollywood Bowl Group, one of the UK’s leading leisure operators, has completed its second investment project of 2018 with the £900,000 redevelopment of the former MFA Bowl at Yeo Leisure Park in Yeovil.
Steve Burns, CEO, Hollywood Bowl Group said: “Our investment programme continues to go from strength to strength with the refurbishment and rebranding of our latest new centre opening in Yeovil, and we’re enjoying welcoming the Yeovil community.
“We have clear goals for the year ahead and can’t wait to bring our new generation entertainment centres to even more people across the UK. Not only are our centres giving customers a destination to celebrate, they’re also driving huge footfall into leisure parks and shopping centres, benefiting our neighbours too.”
The 18 lane centre in Yeovil has been fully re-designed and now features plush new furnishings, contemporary American décor and upgraded music and lighting technology.
With a brand-new Hollywood Diner, the company is placing extra focus on its food and drink offering. Gourmet burgers, hotdogs, freshly made shakes served in retro milk bottles and signature desserts now feature on the newly-developed menu, as well as speciality house cocktails served from a new American-style bar.
In addition, the centre’s amusement area has been completely overhauled and now boasts industry-leading games such as Typhoon Rollercoaster and retro games like Crossy Road, Pacman and Space Invaders.
