Sharrow Bay, in the Lake District, has unveiled an intimate new dining room, set right over the waters of Ullswater and offering the very best table in the Lake District.
The Lake District’s original country house hotel has thoughtfully converted part of its lakeside terrace using original stone walls, traditional oak flooring and unique furnishings to offer a characterful private dining space, complete with wood burning stove to keep it cosy and a glazed wall with spectacular views across the lake to Hallin Fell, beyond.
The space has been named ‘Hallin View’ and is perfect for two (making it unrivalled for Valentine’s Day romance and proposals) but can seat up to four for unique celebrations.
Guests being treated to the memorable Hallin View experience will be greeted with flutes of champagne, before enjoying a five-course gourmet menu of award winning food in complete privacy, while taking in their breathtaking surroundings.
Those who’d like to make the Hallin View experience into a Hallin View Break can do so as Sharrow Bay offers some of the most sumptuous rooms in all of the Lakes. The Silver Room in particular seamlessly continues the awe-inspiring views with an outlook, bathtub and bed right over the water.
Exclusive use of Sharrow Bay’s Hallin View for the evening, including champagne and dinner costs from £350.00 for two people or from £700.00 for four. To find out more please telephone 01768 486301 or email info@sharrowbay.co.uk.
