Situated in the award-winning Cornish Tiger restaurant, from September the back room of this celebrated restaurant will become a pop-up whisky/curry house called Tiger Dram. It will be the perfect place to indulge a taste for the very best curry dishes alongside an impressive array of artisan whiskies. With its own address of ¾ Battersea Rise, Tiger Dram can only be accessed via a secret entrance to the back of Cornish Tiger. And even after you manage to find the right way in you have to rub the Buddha’s belly before you are granted access.
Tiger Dram has a unique range of Indian tapas dishes to serve you, small plates of deconstructed curry the likes of which you may never have seen, or tasted, before! There are also unashamedly sexy sharing plates to start with; dishes that include specially sourced meats such as goat and venison. When it comes to the mains, there is a choice of five curry options that will always be there for you to opt for, all made with the finest and freshest ingredients: vegetable, lamb, chicken, fish and the traditional Indian favourite keema. One thing that will change, however, is the naan, with Tiger Dram offering a different special naan every month- think elegant stilton and truffle! Tiger Dram will also help you select the best whisky to accompany your meal. Each whisky available has its own distinctive character and comes from the very best producers in the country. If you feel more in the mood for something a little softer, then there is also a selection of craft ales that can be matched to your meal as well!
