Principal Hayley Group, a leading hotel and conference centre provider, has announced three new general manager appointments to its venue management team; Martin Jones has joined the team at De Vere Venues Wynchwood Park, Chris Falcus has joined Eastwood Hall, and James Grant has been appointed at De Vere Venues Brigade, London.
Martin’s career spans more than 20 years in hotel management and he joins De Vere Venues Wychwood Park in Crewe, Cheshire, from his previous role at the Macdonald Kilhey Court Hotel & Spa. Martin’s experience also includes management positions at the Arora Hotel Manchester, BridgeStreet Worldwide and the Stanneylands Hotel in Wimslow, Cheshire.
Chris Falcus has extensive experience of hotel management and operations in the Midlands, joining Eastwood Hall in Nottingham from his previous position as General Manager at Jurys Inn East Midlands Airport. Prior to his time with Jurys Inn, Chris was General Manager at Thistle Birmingham joining Thistle from Staybridge Suites in Birmingham.
James Grant, De Vere Venues BrigadeJames Grant has joined Brigade – De Vere Venues’ social enterprise dedicated events space, bar, bistro and cookery school in partnership with PwC UK, Beyond Food Foundation and Big Issue Invest – bringing a wealth of experience garnered through managing restaurants, pubs and bars throughout his career, including Wiltons in London’s Jermyn Street.
