The Wigwam in Arizona has appointed Jarell Tucker as Director of Culinary.
Tucker brings more than 17 years of culinary leadership experience across luxury hotels, resorts and restaurants and will oversee the resort’s culinary operations.
His remit will include Litchfield’s, Red Allen’s Bar & Grill and Wigwam Bar, alongside the development of the wider culinary programme.
Tucker’s career has included leadership roles with Hyatt Hotels, Accor and Marriott International, including positions at The Ritz-Carlton Buckhead and The St. Regis Atlanta.
His experience spans Forbes Five-Star and AAA Five Diamond outlets alongside luxury properties featuring Michelin-recognised dining.
Across previous roles, Tucker has overseen multi-outlet resort operations as well as menu and concept development, events, buyouts and other culinary programmes.
At The Wigwam, Tucker plans to develop a food offer influenced by Arizona’s landscape, agriculture, ingredients, artisans and producers.
“I’m excited to join The Wigwam and help shape the next chapter of its culinary program,” said Tucker. “I look forward to honoring the resort’s rich history while bringing a fresh perspective to its dining experiences, particularly as Litchfield’s enters a new era. My goal is to build on the property’s legacy while creating thoughtful, memorable dining experiences that celebrate Arizona’s local ingredients, landscape and culinary character.”
His appointment follows the recent reopening of Litchfield’s, The Wigwam’s signature restaurant, after a multi-million-dollar refurbishment.
The project included a redesigned bar and lounge alongside updated indoor and outdoor spaces and changes to the restaurant’s food and beverage offer.
Tucker will now oversee the next stage of the resort’s culinary development across its restaurant and bar portfolio.
