La Quinta Resort & Club has announced the appointment of Marco Aguilar as Executive Chef.

The appointment marks a milestone moment in the resort’s centennial year.
Set at the base of the Santa Rosa Mountains, La Quinta Resort & Club is an iconic desert retreat with a long-standing hospitality legacy.
Aguilar brings more than 20 years of culinary leadership experience across luxury resorts, private clubs and high-volume hospitality destinations.
In his new role, he will oversee all culinary operations at La Quinta Resort & Club, including menu development, restaurant and banquet programming, team leadership and strategy.
His appointment comes as the property continues to evolve its culinary programme for the next generation of guests.

Aguilar’s career spans luxury resorts, private clubs and high-volume hospitality destinations across the Southwest and beyond.
He began his culinary career in Santa Fe, where he built a strong foundation in resort dining while developing the technical expertise and leadership skills that would define his career.
Early roles as sous chef at Bishop’s Lodge and La Posada strengthened his experience in culinary execution and kitchen operations.
He later expanded his experience at Grappa Bistro in Colorado and in culinary roles across Arizona, broadening his repertoire and reinforcing his adaptability across different dining environments.
Over the past decade, Aguilar has played an integral role in transforming Adobe Grill into a sought-after standalone dining destination.
A familiar and respected presence throughout the resort, he has built lasting relationships with guests and team members while consistently delivering a strong culinary experience for Adobe Grill diners.
His commitment to quality has earned the admiration of colleagues and the loyalty of returning guests.
Aguilar’s appointment marks a new chapter for La Quinta Resort & Club in its centennial year.
It reflects the property’s continued tradition of developing culinary leadership and delivering an elevated hospitality experience for guests.
